At my office, there’s a counter-top machine in the kitchen that dispenses water and ice. One day last week, the machine had a post-it note on its front stating, “Out of Order.” The next day, the post-it note was gone, having been replaced by a different post-it note on the side of the machine stating, “On/Off Switch.” Although there was no official announcement, I suspect that the ice machine was never broken.
