Hoarding

Read time: 1 min.

As part of my new year’s resolution, I decided to use up some of the hand lotion that I have evidently been stock-piling over the years. [Editor’s note: the stock-pile has over-flown my bathroom closet, the guest bathroom closet, and two cupboards in the kitchen.] So on January 4, 2010, I packed a never-been-used bottle in my brief case to bring to work, so that I could moisturize after each keystroke. Two weeks later, while sitting idly at my desk, I finally got around to trying it. When I put the substance on my hands, I was appalled to discover that it was not the creamy, luxurious lotion that I had been hoping for, but was instead a brown, grainy, very unpleasant mixture.

It turns out it was body scrub.

I think I’m going to change my resolution.
