Almost As Bad As What They Do To Your Car

Since upon returning home, my new wife and I decided to immediately redecorate our entire apartment, I’m just now getting around to properly sorting through our honeymoon pictures, and so I thought I’d share the experience.

For our honeymoon, my new wife and I stayed in a condo on Ormond Beach.

A balcony overlooking the beach

Naturally, as newlyweds, we couldn’t resist the temptation to take a walk on the beach.

This would prove to be the last mistake we’d ever make.

A sign sticking out of the ocean.

Young and foolish, we allowed the balmy Florida weather and beautiful scenery to dull our senses, unaware of the Hitchcockian horror that would soon engulf us.

A beach beneath a cloudy sky.

Dun dun dun?

The horror of what followed cannot be expressed in words, so I will allow you to infer it for yourself.

A bird on a beach.

A bird on a beach.

A bird on a beach, coming toward the camera.

A blurry image of a condo by the beach, with a woman's arm in the foreground.

A closeup of an eye.

A closeup of an eye.

Incidentally, if you’ll look to the lower right hand corner of the second to last frame where we’re being attacked by birds, you’ll see my beautiful wife, Una, showing off her ring as she flees in terror.
